These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of heartforpsalms.com (the "Site"), run by Heart for Psalms ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site offers
Heart for Psalms is a free companion to the @HeartForPsalms YouTube channel. The Site includes:
- Psalm Readers: read-along pages that pair our videos with the psalm text;
- the Psalms Library: psalms grouped by life themes;
- downloadable PDFs of Psalm Reader and Psalms Library passages;
- a Give page for voluntary gifts through PayPal.
You do not need an account to use any public part of the Site. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Scripture text
Scripture on the Site and in our PDFs comes from the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain. You may freely copy, share and reuse the Scripture text itself.
Our content and how you may use it
Apart from the public-domain Scripture text, the content on the Site belongs to Heart for Psalms or our licensors. That includes our videos, narrations, theme names and descriptions, written content, PDF layouts, logo, design and the "Heart for Psalms" name. It is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may:
- view, read and listen to the Site for personal, devotional, educational and other non-commercial purposes;
- download and print our PDFs and share them free of charge, for example with your family, church, school or small group, as long as you do not alter them or remove our name;
- link to any public page of the Site and share our pages and videos using the share features provided.
You may not sell our content, repackage it as your own, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, unless we have agreed in writing. For other uses, email us at heartforpsalms@boreinu.com.
Search engines, AI tools and automated access
We welcome search engines, AI assistants and AI search tools that index, summarise, quote and link to the Site, provided they follow our robots.txt file, do not overload our servers, and attribute content to Heart for Psalms with a link where practical. Our sitemap and llms.txt list our public pages. Automated access must not try to reach administrator areas or get around security measures.
Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- try to access administrator areas, other people's accounts or our systems without permission;
- interfere with the Site's security or operation, including by sending excessive automated requests or uploading malicious code;
- use the Site for anything unlawful, or to harass, defraud or harm others.
Administrator accounts
Public registration is not available. Administrator accounts are created by invitation only. Administrators must keep their login details confidential, use two-factor authentication where offered, and tell us straight away about any unauthorised use.
Giving
- Gifts are entirely voluntary. You do not have to give to use any part of the Site, and gifts do not buy any goods, services or special access.
- Gifts are processed by PayPal under PayPal's terms. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
- Gifts are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, email us promptly at heartforpsalms@boreinu.com and we will work with you in good faith.
- Do not assume a gift is tax-deductible unless we have told you so in writing. Please ask a tax adviser about your own situation.
Third-party services and links
The Site embeds YouTube videos and links to other services such as YouTube, PayPal, Facebook, Instagram and X. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for them.
Not professional advice
Our content is for devotional and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal or other professional advice. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services straight away. In the United States you can call or text 988.

Disclaimers
We provide the Site "as is" and "as available". We work to keep content accurate and the Site available, but to the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Heart for Psalms and its volunteers, contributors and administrators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you gave to us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site changes. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the effective date above. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
Ending access
We may suspend or block access to the Site, or to an administrator account, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken or to protect the Site and its visitors.
